i need help (with the back end).

I made these two quilt tops for the new girl's room.
(Remember the pillows I showed you?)
The best thing about these quilts is that so far I haven't bought ANY fabric... it's all scraps/stash.
once again i opted for fast, cheap and easy.
(yes. I have been called a QUILT SLUT before.)
But.
Now I'm stuck.
I found PERFECT back and binding fabric at Hobby Lobby, but it wasn't even on sale.
I had planned on piecing the back with scrap pieces... but I don't know.
What do you think?
Can I back them without spending money?
or
Should I just go buy the fabric that I already found and love?
And, help #2... I'm NEVER real good at naming quilts. Any suggestions?
plus. I'm sick so I'm kinda all around poopy today.

Cute quilts! If you really want to buy the fabric you can go to Hobby Lobby's web site and get a coupon this week for 25% off anything.

I love those quilts and you know, since those quilts are soooo adorable maybe a real cute backing would be the icing on the cake. Sometimes a quilt (not yours) look kinda drab but once you get that backing on...ummm ummmm So I say go for it....a slut can change her ways with the right motivation.

I would follow your original goal; using what you have. If you have enough to make a backing, then I would go for it. It will challenge you, and you will be all the more proud of your work. It is lovely so far!

Okay, this blog is awesome and I'm adding it to my reader! I love that lots of you contribute. My friends and I have a blog like that too--Today's Housewife.
I just started quilting and found your blog from quilting blogs. I can't wait to finish my first quilt--you can check out the progress on my blog.
By the way, I love the pictures of the quilts on here!

Cute tops! Hobby Lobby didn't have their 40% off coupon this week, so it will probably be in next week's ad. I used to think I could put anything on the back, but I am more fussy now as to what I put on the back because I, too, think it makes the quilt even better. Good luck with your decision.

Hmmm, I find that something I love one day, is something I look at in a few days and think I do not need that, but if I look at it again in a few days and still love it, get it. But if you had a goal to just use scraps use them and call the quilt, your scrapy Fun. Good Luck and let us know what you decide.
