Congrats to Melissa who stuck with it and finished her very FIRST quilt! She cut denim strips and then pieced five of the strips together, alternating lighter denim and darker denim. The "woven" effect looks great! She even quilted and bound it -- and denim is not easy to work with in my book. I'm looking forward to seeing her next quilt. You go girl!

Melissa, I know you made this quilt a couple of years ago, but I just wanted to let you know that it was the inspiration for my Dad's Christmas present last year. I love the look of this denim quilt. Are the blocks all the same size or is there an "A" block and a "B" block? What sizes of strips did you use and what are the finished and unfinished sizes of the blocks. I am also asking because I'm wondering if I will need to allow for more than 1/4" seam allowance. This quilt is fantastic!! So impressive that I would really love to have the instructions! Quite a feat, since even though I've sewn for years, I've always sworn off the idea of quilting! How would I access the instructions???? Thank you for your time!
