This was a fun quilt to do! As you can see, I did my chickens/ roosters in black and white, but they can be done in any color(s). The patterns can be found at
fatcatpatterns. Most already had names, but I named those that didn't have a name and then embroidered the names on each block. For the backing of the quilt, I found black fabric with little red dots and yellow chicken feet -- just perfect for this quilt. My friend, Cathy, did another outstanding job in quilting it -- can you see the little chick kickin' up it's foot in the little red blocks? The chicken wire in the border is great!
