Stack and whack Simplicity!

I bought a 10" layer cake last year from the simplicity line of fabric and decided to do a stack and whack. Well.... being the mistake queen... I didn't "shuffle the fabric before I whacked and sewed the first 10 blocks. Resulting in all pink blocks.

Hey- perfect size for a baby quilt!

The remaining blocks were mixed up so there was a variety of colors in each block, though not much pink (since I had used it all in my mistake) so I sashed it in pink.

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!! It is so pretty! I love the Simplicity fabric and have wanted to do a whack n stack but am always afraid I'll screw up my material. Yours turned out beautiful!

It is wonderful, sometimes mistakes turn out just grand and then again...but we won't go there. Your quilt is wonderful and some little girl will love it.

Both quilts are sweet! Love the stack and whack method. And what's wrong with all pink? Nothing...
