I needed a wedding gift.

Remember this project...

Well... I grabbed a few
put them on point with
white muslin and

tada! A quick and easy table runner.

I miss my sisters! Where are your projects? I just talked with Julie (in MI) and she is finishing up a t-shirt quilt for a graduation present... can't wait to see it posted!

What has everyone else been working on?

Jen- I would love to see your heart buggy barn on here. It is SO amazing to me that you did that without a pattern.

Bliss

Saying goodby to Susan....

So sad saying goodbye.
One of our quilt sisters is moving.

But don't worry...

we'll just have our next

quilt retreat in Colorado!

We all pitched in and made Susan the
"Chicken Quilt"
I can't believe I didn't get a close-up of the quilting.
Kathy Tree did this with her long arm machine
and it is BEAUTIFUL!

Chicken wire pattern on the black,
baby chicks on the red squares
and stippling on the yellow.

I almost cancelled the party...
so I could keep the quilt!

But I love Susan more than that.
But just barely.

Texas!

I just finished this quilt today for a friend that

has spent the last few years in Texas for her

husband's medical school and residency.

My friend came up with the idea and her

husband made the Texas pattern for me.

On a stolen hospital sheet.

But I won't tell.
