Jen, I LOVE it! (the quilt - not the laundry:) That is perfect for someone I've been trying to figure out what to make. What is the measurement of your quilt? Will you add to the post?

You're good. I would have left the laundry and done the quilt, ummm.... I think the washing machine just stopped. Bye!

Hey Jen!
I have been looking through all of the things that you have added here, it has been a few hospital stays ago since I think I have looked...isn't it sad when that is how you tell how much time has gone by in your life, but it's a little funny in a way. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that I think you have an amazing gift! You are the one who inspired me to sew quilts tops for the humanitarian aid. I went and got all the pieces and I am starting my first one tomorrow, wish me luck...I'm a little nervous! Hopefully this will teach me some new things and eventually I will be as cool as you and Diana :D

Bliss-- you know, I'm VERY creative with my measuring... I do EVERYTHING with 2.5 or 5 inch strips... so, lots of 2.5 inch strips all sewn together with 5 inch long white strips in between... for some variation I added some 2.5 inch strips at the ends. YES, I did remember to use the strip piecing technique, but it made for strips that weren't varied at all... HAVE FUN! and, call me if you need more measurements... i'm very exact and stuff. (and, did i tell you i love your baby quilts... yup. love em)
