McK chose the
Taxi pattern and picked out the black, blue and teal fabrics for her quilt a while back. I secretly made it for her last year and surprised her this past Christmas (2011). She was very pleased and excited.
I made this quilt for Mariel and Dallin's wedding in December of 2010. Mariel also picked the taxi pattern and wanted it done in whites, creams and grays. I added an extra row and borders to make it fit a queen-sized bed. At first I wasn't sure how to use the colors effectively, but am pleased with how it turned out.
